What is the 99 compared to the 2001 at WOT. Will a 2* key in the flywheel get the 99 to the same point as the 01 or is it more already. I do realize the 2000 and up are a different ignition (Open).

I just found that the 2000 is 9* @ WOT and the 2001 is 12 1/2* at WOT. Still, I'd like to know the rest of the years I listed.

Blaine,

Is post #2 in the link correct? 7208 is an '01??? Here are a few pics of mine. One on the sled when I bought it is on the wall and the other one that is on the sled now. So, your saying both are 01's? I was thinking they are both 2000's??
My 2000 Pantera was CU7208-9F17
My 2000 T-Cat was CU7208-9F03
My 2001 T- ignition CU7208-0C30

Is it possible that Cat put the updated ignition on my Pantera and my T-cat? Anyone else out there with a 2000 T-cat that can check and post your numbers from your CDI?

What are the ending numbers and letters the shift of production?

Are the ZRT 800's CDI's different than the Thundercats?
I found this for the 01 ZRT 800.
Arctic Cat 2001 ZRT 800 Triple CDI Ignition Box New, CU7211, 3005-757.

The one you list are CU 7208.

Thanks, Kevin.

someone told me that the 7211 was best for my 1004 im building, but that doesnt really seem right, as it only has about 9 degrees at WOT.
