Had a buddy use them on his Firecat SnoPro (which had the 1.375" track), and another buddy use them on his '03 Switchback (1.25" track). Both used the Holz brand ice scratchers, and had no complaints.

my freind has a set that mounts on the slide rails on his yamaha GAYPEX mt, i have chased behind him 2 see how they work, and they work great on hardpack and icy conditions, keeps the rads cool, and the slides from stickin. i just picked up a set for my firecat.

that doesnt look like a bad idea. i would just worry about the bolt gettins caught. it looks like they kick up more snow then the actual scratchers do

Yamaha seems to have a better solution

With ice scratchers you run the possibility of bending them when going backwards

With these cable mounted ones you will have no worries while backing up and should be easy to install on Cats or any sled for that matter
