Hi everyone I am putting on my new Venom 3500 today and need some advice on the wiring. How do you find wich wire comes from the key, the install says to hook up the red wire but to what, and where is the best place to mount the silonide (sp) control? I was thinking up on the inside by the airfilter.

I have a warn, but the wiring should be similar I would imagine. I mounted my solenoid rught under the seat. In fact, I have two mounted under the seat (one for the front, one for the rear winch).

The red wire (if it's like my Warn one) is wired to a positive volt feed. The other two wires that come from the mini rocker go to the solenoid. Does that make sense?

i hooked mine up to the cigarette lighter. i just made a little jumper that lets me cconnect/disconnect as needed. but on mine the lighter is on the body not the pod like the new ones.
