hi i am going crazy i have an 89 el tigre 530 and the lights and i mean all of them the dash the gauges the headlight everything goes on and off when they feel like it mostly stay off though. it runs great all the time never a problem when the lights go off. i have tryed to find grounds and split wires but really can see anything wrong. any help is greatly appreciated

Loose or corroded connection at one of the wiring plugs?

You might want to checjk your voltage regulator, it might be loosing it's ground. Should be a single nut holding it on. Take it off and sand it and the mounting surface it attacfhes to
