you will need to check the centers on them, they are the flat sides right? you will also want to have the proper jetting, as well as needle and other parts from you current setup to make sure that they tuned right.

 

Fixed cap lock put some wd- 40 on it and tapped on it. ok check center what do you mean by that ? Do you think the needle's will be the same ? My main and pilot are fine but i have something going on with one of my needle's.

 

ok the fuel valve's are differnt the polaris is 2.5 and the artic cat is 3.0 i wonder what the differnce is going to be ?

The 3.0 slides, flow more air at a given position.

 

Well i am going to buy the 2.5 carbs and machine them to be identical to the 3.0 carbs. i guess the differnece is the arch on the bottom of the slide. I hope this worls cause i can't find any.

 

i would think if its just more air at idle that you could adjust the slides up to flow more air. dont know if that would crank up ur idle tho.

 

So i got the carbs on ans seems to run pretty good. It may be a little sluggish on the bottom end when taking off but runs great on top and close to top end. Any sugestions on this. all in all it runs good starts good and idles great.
