Looking to get my heads machined down to take up a bit of the slop in my squish band. The question is how much of an increase should I expect to see in my compression ratio? Not looking to increase compression too much, I just want to lose a little from the .089 thou squish band I have. Looking to take about .029 thou off. What kind of compression increase will that give me. It's another 100.00 a head to have my combustion chamber machined to match and I would like to put that 200.00 somewhere else if I could.

Thanks all.

.029 off the heads will most likley require fuel additives if not race gas.
Will you be running this set up in the cold wither months.

Still want to run it in the winter. Don't want to run avgas.....probably just go8ing to get it done right and have the chambers milled out to match the squish and keep the same compression. Just want to get the slop out so I can play with the timing a bit and not have to much detonation problems.
