I did the prelims before I went riding this weekend and noticed a small hairline crack on my pipe. It's the stock pipe that came with the machine. Rode it like I normally did, nothing happened. I'm going to take it into work to get welded, but, what are the probabilities of it blowing out this upcoming weekend for my last ride, even with the weld? Next season, for sure a newer pipe, stock or something better.

Best way to have it repaired is to first drill a 1/8" hole at either end of the crack, now have the crack tig welded then tig weld a patch over it...............if done properly it's a permanent repair. Mig welder / done slow is the next best option.
