Still no one else? wow... The Yukon is a great place to ride people... tones of area, not many people, good guides, friendly locals, the home of the Sledporn series, it goes on....Last ride of the year for most people was May (May 24)long weekend, but a few people stretched it to June this year... As for whats over that hill, lots more hills and valleys just like that one there. That pic is haines summit, between haines junction, Yukon and Haines, Alaska. only a few miles from the Lutak arm of the pacific ocean there, and not too terribly far from the Wrangell-St. Elias Ice fields where Canada's biggest mountain is (mt. Logan) in Kluane National park. I can't think of a nicer place to ride :beer_cheers:

I've read some of his posts... I have friends that live in that area and around Houston and Smithers in BC, and a few down in Crowsnest pass, Alberta...great riding as well... they do more deep powder stuff, our snow is a bit more set up, allowing us to do more jumping and stuff like that, less powder snorkeling. But ya, its all good. :beer_cheers:

I was out ridding this past weekend in Winnipeg.

I grew up in the Yukon, in Watson Lake. Loved it up there, and still miss it. One day I'll be back!

We had a snowstorm two weeks ago, dumped 3 feet of snow in 24 hours in town, more in the high country and it's been snowing fairly steady since. I've been out to the Onion five or six times now, going to the Microwave in about an hour.

Beautiful man.. I have to get back down that way... like i said, i have some friends in Houston that have a cabin on the ski hill there in smithers. Gotta buy another sled first tho... good luck with the riding and I can;'t wait to join you. :beer_cheers:

oh ya, greenpowa, you gotta come back. I grew up in Haines Junction, and i moved away for school. Lived in Alberta and Ontario for 4 years during the winters, back home in the summers, but I miss it... moving back to whitehorse for good in January. Riding is too good to miss here. :beer_cheers:

what, no snow in brampton yet?? lol.. I used to frequent that town alot, my ex girlfriends parents live there. We are getting some snow as i type, not enough to ride down here but a motivated man could go hit the hills. Will do my best to bring some snow when I am down in T.O. for a conference in November. :beer_cheers:
