hey all you cat guys.i have a 1978 6000 with a 530 l/c and i wanna gear to race this weekend.i have 24top 39 bottom.what should i change top gear to so she gets outta the hole in a hurry,with out losing my top end..thanks.

I'm not sure what type of racing your doing, but this is a good post with Brett. http://www.arcticchat.com/forum/pinned-topic-area/159672-81-el-tigre.html The 500 had the same gears.
