Hi Folks,
Wondering what the correct ratio for my 79 JAG 340 F/A is. Dash says "50:1 if you use Arctic Cat Synthetic, all others 20:1"........Is 50:1 with todays oils O.K. ? I use Yamalube or Skidoo 2 cycle oil for all my others at 50:1..... Thanks,
Mark

We ran Ski-Doo oil in our Cats for a season, the 50-1 stuff that was the equal of the old Spirit semisynthetic, ran fine. (Hey it was on sale CHEAP, so?) I'd agree 20-1 is a nice way to kill flies. ;) Run it a while and check the plugs for any signs of overheating just as a precaution, check the carb jetting and if no trouble, which I doubt there will be any, have a party.

I'll go with 50:1....Haven't blown one up yet. As usual, I get the help I need from the forum members.
Thanks,
Mark
