Hello I'm new to the site. It looks like a great and helpful site so I hope someone will be able to help me before I go nuts! Here is the latest problem, I have a 2008 arctic cat 700 EFI ATV and every time I hook up the battery it blows the 30amp main fuse this happens even when the kill switch is off and the key is turned off. The battery is charged up but it did freeze this winter so I thawed it out and it took a charge and its still holds a charge I'm not sure if this would have anything to do with it. I've also been searching for a worn wire but haven't had any luck. So I hope someone else has an idea of what the problem could be

I had one do the same thing but the plates inside we're screwed from freezing. It finally shorted out internally.

Just take your battery in and have it load tested first
