Took my new to me 2015 El Tigre to Tug Hill this weekend. I did a major overhaul prior to riding: rebuilt/upgraded both clutches, sent the shocks to Hygear for rebuilding and revalving, rebuilt the skid with all new idlers, hyfax, etc, carbides, all fluids, spark plugs, belt. Aside from 10 minutes of testing it behind my shop last week this was my first time out in this sled. Coming from F7 Firecats, this thing is amazing. Biggest improvements are the seating position and suspension. I love the firecats but at 6'1" 260 lbs they aren't the most comfortable for me. I wouldn't say it's a whole lot faster but it has a lot more low end torque and puts the power down better. Did around 100 miles and the sled ran flawlessly all weekend. Only thing I broke was somehow a ski loop cracked. I can only imagine how much better an even newer sled is. Just can't justify it because our season is barely 3 months.
