So I had just started riding this year and my motor seized. It’s got 6700 miles on it so I wasn’t surprised. Turns out the cable going to the oil pump broke but luckily only killed one cylinder. The clutch side cylinder is the one that seized. So I bought an spi piston kit and one new cylinder. Got it all back together and now it’s a complete dog off the line even after a few miles. Changed the plugs a couple of times and thought maybe it’s because I put oil in the gas tank to help break in the new rings. But I’m almost all the way thru that mixed gas. But yeah it’s a complete dog off the line and won’t even spin the track in deep snow until it gets up to like 20 mph. If someone knows what this can be please let me know. And also just put different carbs on it right after rebuild. They are off of a 2003 f5 and mine is a 2004. I hope that is the issue maybe although it is a pain to put diff carbs on there as anyone who has done it should know.
