I've been away for quite a while.... Because the twin ('05 LE V-2) had some major issues. I finally got her back to the dealer in September or so. Three weeks later I got the quad back. Didn't have time to take her out until the week befor Thanksgiving. They told me that there was a dead spot in the midrange. I didn't realize that midrange ment from 1000rpm's to 6000rpm's. Got her into the woods and all most didn't get her back out. Got her back to the dealership a couple weeks before Christmas, with 38 hours and 166 miles on her.
Got the call today that Arctic Cat is going to give me what I paid for her against a new black '06 H1 SE with a winch. I'm guessing it's due to the fact that they have no idea what is wrong with her. So, she is headed back to the factory for them to tear apart.
Now I am seriously thinking of selling the brand new quad. This experience has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don't feel like riding. I am having the same issues with my street bike. I bought a Harley a couple of years ago and have had nothing but problems with it. I went from 8K-10K miles a year to 1500 last year. Most of that was back and forth to work. If I could get rid of that turd I would. I just could not sell it with a clean consionse. (sp)
If anyone is interested in a brand new '06 H1 let me know.
Later,
Steve
