So here we go again, Now the Tcat needs the filler neck repaired! First the Jag, then the ZR 700 and now the Tcat. All pretty much in the same place. Thankful that I bought a plastic welder a few years ago!

Are all Cat gas tanks this crappy? Discuss....

I have always thought that it was from when filling, People resting the filler on the neck. I dunno. Our Polaris did the same thing. I have just got in the habbit of not resting the Filler on the neck

I do not rest the pump on the tank. I pre-mix all of my sleds, I pour the oil in then fill with gas. I also do not over tighten the caps.

The SnoPros have clear gas tanks and when people try to Clean them they use Bleach to try and get the yellowing out. Bleach and the Plastic Don't like each other. Its not like it has a reaction but it is powerful enough to deterate the plastic
