Hi folks, brand new to the site looking for some help please. My son has a 2000 z120 and he's at the point of getting a little board with it. How can you make it go faster? I heard there is a kit for the polaris 120, comes with a clutch, chain , sproket and a carb part. Would this be what i am looking for? Tks in advance

did you do the governor mod yet? I removed my sons and it made a big change.....the adjustable main jet works really well also.

I have a 120 and we put a honda 6.5 motor in it. Much faster.

I installed the adjustable main jet , Governor spring and velocity stack from Rec motorsports $84 it made a big difference my 4 year old loves it! My wife wasn't that impressed but she will get over it.

If you look at your track on the cat 120's you will notice that every second bar in the track has no track clip. That creates a rubber on slider situation which creates friction and slows the sled down.
Fully clipping the track is something that everyone who races these sleds does. It makes the track rotate much more freely with less friction as you dont have the rubber track rubbing on the slide rails. The end result, more speed.
