Anybody have a throttle problem with the new f8's ? I was riding down the lake and all the sudden my throttle cable came very loose and the machine shut itself off. All the sudden the problem fixed itself. This has happened to me 3 times now, and i dont want to get stuck on the middle of the lake and it not fixing. Apparently the lever may be getting caught on something but im not sure about that. Also once it fixed itself when im riding faster the actual throttle is kind of loose and distracts me by moving.

Look under the hood, follow the cable, look for frayed line or something pinching it. If you don't see anything take it back to the Dealer.

Well, atleast you know that your dead man switch is working! Look for a kinked cable, or a broken spring on your throttle body.[/b]
yeah no kidding, id probably been pretty screwed since it happened in a windy trail.
