Step 1: Pick up new sled.

This is not my snowmobile. Because I had my dealer put my spar covers on for me, a picture in its original form does not exist. This picture was taken from Hardcoresledder.... just an idea of what it did look like. - Thank you to who ever posted it.

A few changes. 000 - Changed to F8.... Hood F8 changed to Cat Head with Chrome Eyes

I hear ya, thats what im going for. I hate the new headlight covers that Cat sends out. Im going after them soon with some windown tint and seeing what I can do.

I was not aware of this. I have been stoped twice for just a noise check/ registration... both with my old NightFire as it sits in my avitar. I will look into this. Thanks for the, possibly ticket saving, information. :beer_cheers:

J/k. :tongue_nana: Give me a week or a week and a 1/2 and ill have the kit on and then you can see it in person and on snow (...or not). This is just an altered Sno Pro kit from ArcticFX. The 000's are being replaced by an F8... I dont want to look like a "racer wanna be". :beer_cheers:

Step 3 & 4 & 5: Black flyscreen, and black shock covers, Powder Pros... tunnel polish.

Did some minor updates to my project over the last few days. It seems like a constant battle with UPS these days. Waiting on a track and Acebris; not waiting on ArcticFX he has been nice enough to be intouch with me over his minor computer problems. A few updated pictures...

Sled looks nice. I did the same thing to my F10. Question-Are you sure the Acerbis MX Light Flags will mount to a snowmobile mounting bracket? I was checking them out as well and someone told me I couldn't use them on an F? I dunno[/b]

I guess we will see, I ordered the "Snowmobile Bracket Kit"... these are just totally out of the ordinary... I hate for my snowmobile to look like everyones! :devil_angry:

Thanks! I still have a lot left to do before its up to my standards. Being the winter is kinda "iffy" (I did find really good snow this weekend) its hard spending money all the time on the sled. Ive got a few more touches left to do before its done for this winter. Over the spring im going to pull the a-arms off and the skid and send that to the powder coating people at Fireball - along with the pipe and y-pipe.

These things are the real deal fellas... they may be ugly... and people may be saying they are slow. Last weekend I had about a sled length on my fathers Crossfire7. I thought to myself, "Ey' thats not that bad... considering I was comming from an F6". This weekend, granted it has a D&D clutch kit. Its a rocket! 7 lenghts... and that Crossfire is no slouch! Trust me!
