Bought sled non running burnt pto or clutch side. New cylinder and piston. Compression and leak down good. Sled ran fine. Last week had this same problem. Subtle miss at idle 7300 Max rpm. put a timing light on ignition leads pto side flickered. Replaced coil and new boots. Worked fine went on a 200 mile run that day. Now same problem after sitting for couple days. Reeds have been checked. Injectors switched around still miss. New spark plugs then ran up. Mag side is tan the pto side is shiny like newI also switched the ignition leads around. Looked at wiring diagram injector wires go straight to ecm, broken wire? One more thing drive shaft bearings replaced and I noticed the speedo would quit occassionaly when it was running fine. Rectifier? Can the stator cause the miss? Lights are fine. I'm going to go through wiring harness. I also tried switching ignition leads around. It almost has to be a bad read from ECM? What size hammer do I use to beat this damnable thing.? 2lb will be faster but a 5 lb will end it quickly.ok so char away who can give me any kind of lead?!!!
