Im thinking of trading my 04 poo x2 700 (which has been in the shop for 4 months in 2 years) on an 05 F6. It is sitting at my dealer where they are putting a new engine in my poo(thank god for extended warrenty or id be broke). I didnt see if it was efi or not, and im just wondering what mechanical things i should be looking for if i make an offer on it. Also wondering what kind of performance i would expect to see out of it, weather it would compare to my poo, or if i would feel underpowered.

I had this posted under the firecat section but nobody answered and im going on friday for a test run.

Not much to worry about. I have had the Poos and now ride cat. I just this year got rid of my EB 04 F6 and I have a friend with a 02 xc 700(this sled hauls) both sleds are quite close on the top end. BUT out of the hole to 90per say good bye to a 700 poo.
I LOVED my F6 but had to get the couch so the boy could come. I don't regret that either.
I would say also the F6 will ride bumps better than the poo.
Hope this helps.
