Still no F-1000's that are willing to come forward and be tested on the merits of thier mechanical abilities?

There must be some F-1000 owners that want to have a fun weekend of competive racing and interbrand bonding?

How much you wanna bet the only F-Z race we see in your video is the one where the Z passes the F on the return lane.

No not the case. The DVD will be totally impartial to brands other then the name of the event. We will have multiple camera angles of each race so there will be no doubt which sled wins. Should be fun and a good video when it is all said and done!!

LOL... ummm... are you inviting F7's too??? If not, I think you should HIGHLY consider it, just to keep things REALLY interesting! Regardless, I think I'll have to pick up a copy of this DVD. Sounds like a lot of fun, whoever ends up being crowned shootout winner, and this is I believe, the first time a vid like has been done. Hope it's a good, safe, fun time for all involved! – Roy

Ill be out there racing the Mach Z's.... I do every weekend we ride as the other two big thunder partners ride Machs...... They beat the crap out of my 07 F1000 but its not an apples to apples race. Now the 03 F10 is another story but I would have the edge in sled at that point. Dont feel bad when you see a Mach Z killing an F1000 on top, the Mach is geared for way more MPH than we are. If its a short run things will be very close 1500ft and the long legs of the gear come out......

Its all in fun anyhow..... There are big wars over on the Mach Z site on who makes the best aftermarket power. Some say we are a joke but I think many will soon see we are not here tea partys...... :angry_mad:

If I can keep all the parts in my chaincase its going to be a good day!

F-7's are welcome as well. The F-1000 invite was put out to mainly make sure that we get the awaited match up between the two. Andy, one of the organizers plans on running different sleds against each other.

As we all know the F-7 has more than made a name for itself for speed and competiveness on the race circuit. Mach's have been known to stumble a time or two against them for sure! :beer_cheers:

So yes by all means show up with your sled.

We are just video taping the event but the hope will be that it is ran something like the show Pinks with a pre race negotiation and disclosure and than forfiet of lengths based on advantage and so on.

Should be a good time. They will have a heated pavilion and barbecues going. Good time for all the brands to get together and mingle and have some fun! :chug:

Although it is advertised as being in Munising the lake (Indian Lake) is actually in Manistique just to the southeast I believe as RPM stated.

And everyone likes to talk smack now and then but in the end we are all snowmobilers having a good time!! Nothing wrong with a good ribbing though between model and brand owners! chflagwv:

As long as all of our cameras hold up in the elements we will be selling an in depth DVD of the event. If an F-1000 or arctic cat wins a race it will be right on the tape and right in the DVD with the same Kudo's that other sleds get.

Should be good stuff!!

Have a good one!

So far it looks like RPM and a couple other F-1000 confirmed for the shootout. Any other folks thinking they may show? chflagwv:

3 days and counting. Have a few F-1000's confirmed but can always use more. Sounds like a couple big guns comin from New York. A hellacious day of racing, mingling and cooking out on the grill and so forth. Come on out!

Anyway just wanted to post again for those of you who are looking for something to do this Saturday!! :beer_cheers:

I'm interested, but I'm 100% stock for now. I'd like to run my CF1000 and see what she has against some of the other stock sleds. We're hoping to leave for Ishpeming today and were planning on swinging down for Sat. Anyone running stock, no studs either.

I was talking to the man in New York yesterday he said a few boys were coming out. Sounds like it's going to be exciting.
