I had some wires running through some fiberglass resin and noticed that the resin was getting a little warm, and i was just wanting to know if you thought that the heat could melt the wires?

If anything it may have hurt the sheathing, but I don't think it would hurt the wires curing glass shouldn't get hotter than 150 degrees. In the future what I've done in audio applications is make the part then drill a hole though the glass and the silicone it all up. Just make the hole barely big enough for the wires to go through.
