Did you order a Catalyst?

If so, what did you get?

I went through the process and honestly wasn't exactly sure which sled to choose right up until the final clicking. Seems like I kept finding new information about these things. Things that could make a difference in the decision too. It's rare for me to make a purchase while still trying to learn so much about the product.
I'm looking forward to digging into these things and putting on some seat time.

Interesting to hear the comments about the exhaust/engine sound and drivetrain feel. Bud and his kid made the same comments.
The sleds had a bit more throaty sound than they expected. It wasn't an 800 sound, but it seemed more than a 600 motor.
Their comments about the drive were notable too. It was pretty quiet and the sound you could hear was so different. Almost like the sound was a background noise tied to the speeds. They both commented a lot about how smooth they felt without clunking. The kid made the comment, "I wonder how long that will last"? In theory, that feeling should remain.

The tighter drive would be a big deal in my case. I have literally adopted my riding style to ease into movement just to avoid tearing up the chain case. Maybe I can just hammer these things? ;)
I'm curious to see how the belt does with high speed stutters? Those conditions have been one heck of a challenge for durability with my weight and riding style.

According to the Cat Engineer I talked to, the belt has been maintenance free. No breaks in testing, and they have been racing it on the mod sleds for years.

I'm sure the rumor mills will have plenty of blabbing about which parts or other factors might be involved. The early cancellations were mostly because of dealers playing with numbers. Not sure what or why might cause issues now.

My dealer just called me back after talking to cat and my oder for my atac is back on, he said it was an error, i hope this is for others as well that were cancelled, i tried emailing cat to find out, and when i click on their email link, it says this trail closed, i am sure others were emailing them, and they shut it down, happy camoer now.

I'm not sure which email address you tried, but they order process trail has been closed for some time. (Some stuff is set up on a temp basis.)
Glad to hear that you have a dealer that is keeping you up to date. I've always felt that a good dealer is a valuable tool.

I heard a rumor on another site about some orders being cancelled but I haven't seen anything on Facebook about this or other cat sources I follow. A few people on the internet like to stir things up without even knowing the full story, crave that drama I guess.
As far as I know I still have to cough up 16k in a few months
I saw country cat has a lot of the new catalyst accessories listed on their site and with prices. Not sure if they can actually get them yet though. They show not in stock. I'd like to get the high country tunnel pack
