Any idea's for better acceleration. on a dyno graph, i see that there is a bit of belt slip at 30-40 mph.
900 cat woke up changing weights in primary.
Anybody mess with these new 1000's. Stock, no mods.

I have not had a lot of testing time but i installed a m7 secondary on my m1000 more so converted it to one. By the seat of the pants test it seems to accelerate alot harder . Talked to guys running this set up in the mountains and they are getting 5 mph more track speed spinning in powder. I hope this helps. I know one thing for sure the stock set up has a lot of room for improvement.Since you have a xf may be try a xf 7 set up .

put a set on 80 gram weights in the primary and make sure you have the orange spring in the second dary clutch it wont slip and you should hit 110-116 mph on the trails

Thanks for the input. Thinking of heavier weights, but adding 10 grams of weight to 4 weights may lug the motor too much in powder? Stock weights are 70 gram x 4. Have you run the 80 gram set up? F or XF? Progressive helix may be better too, stock 38 degree straight. Thinking 50 ish 36 ish.
