Hi all..have a 1972 cheetah and was wandering if the center of the crank had to be sealed between the 2 cylinders on a 440 air cooled motor... and what r the case and head torque specs..thanks alot..would appreciate the help..just trying to rebuild old cat.... :sos:

I'm having the same problem I have a 440 with the middle seal all the way around. I'm wondering if I can use the split aluminum style with the two prongs or do I have to split the shaft. The tourche for the heads is 16 ft lbs.
