Let me start by saying that I'm a extreme novice when it comes to clutching. Took the secondary off to get at everything to replace track and drive shaft bearings on my '01 ZR8. When i put everything back together the way it came apart there was some play in the clutch on the shaft. 1/8 of an inch?? the bolt that goes in the end has 5 washers total. One larger one (retainer?) and 4 smaller ones that seem like they were in there to cause the gap. Does any of this sound right? Thanks

You should get the tool to check the belt alignment if you want it 100% correct. Cat dealers, and many suppliers sell them. There is a blue print on here to make the tool if you have accsess to a machine shop or tools at home to cut thin alum.
