Clock gains time

The clock on my 2013 gains a ton of time quickly. Me dealer has a 2012 Wild Cat and he says that does it also. My 06 and 08 never did this. Has anyone else noticed this?

Are you talking about the hour meter ? I dunno If so there is another thread here on the amount of hours on new machines with very few miles on them of which mine is one also. Had 30 miles and 20 hours on it. I dunnoIt seems to be a pretty common complaint/concern but no one seems to have an answer but it is pretty crazy alright. No big deal for me and if that is all that goes wrong I will be a happy Cat happy atver.
No,I am talking about the actual clock feature on the speedometer. It gains about 10 minutes a week.
They vary by quite a bit. Mine are slow. 10 minutes every 2 months
Ok,my other 2 were always right on. Just wanted to hear from some other people. Thanks.

My new 2013 TRV 700XT is doing the SAME thing? I dunno Gained 30 minutes in 3 wks.

I put a call thru my dealer call center to find out what's up. I'll post up what I find from my tech support rep.

Well THAT was an effort in futility

AC dealer tech support said it's an "issue" with the new gauge style in the 13's in combo with the gen3 ECU. Replacing the gauge under warranty WON'T fix the problem as the replacement gauge will STILL have the same issue.:bang:

Soooo....that said......everyone that's having problems has 2 choices:
1. keep re-setting the clock every wk
2. de-select the clock display in favor of the odometer display
