I already have the axle shaft with the 10 tooth drive cogs already on it. How hard is it to change??? Any tips or advice???

fairly easy. Y are u wanting to change? bigger lug track?

You will have to remove the speedo sensor on the PTO side just below the secondary.

you will have to drain the oil from the chain case. open up the cahin case and take off your gears and chain.

Remove rear skid. i would do this first.

I thougt that all 04's came with the 9 tooth drivers?? or am i wrong.

Thanks. I'll prob. be checking on the computer alot and reading the tech section rear skid removal alot while i'm working on it. Maybe I should bring the sled in the basement.....that prob. wouldn't work....maybe the computer in the garage.......

i did what you are doing. i'm going back to 9" drivers. yes,you get more top end,but puts picks closer to heat exchanger. track gets a little loose and at the higher speed can and will get the exchanger. you tighten the track so it doesn't hit and suspension gets stiffer because the larger drivers and larger rear wheels take up so much track. suspension doesn't rock back as much. this lets front and rear part of suspesion couple together to quick. i'm also adding some guards on exchanger as mentioned in a topic earlier. for lake runs it still will work good.
