'04 F-7 Anyone know whats the most likely spot to leak? (cover gasket or seals) thanks in advance Gene.

is it leaking in the belly pan or under the sled by the cog shaft,if it where me i would pull the cover off and check things out ,check your bearings put a little rtv on it and put back together,it sucks when there not potty trained

Yeah it's in the pan It's a friends sled & was just looking for a quick fix,guess not.We'll tear into it this afternoon. thanks Gene. :sno: :sno: :sno:

well if its in the pan ya might get away with checking the seal on the cover ,put some rtv on and try it Cat happy ,i would still check things out,depnding on the mileage on the sled ,the bearings would be on my mind,its easier to do now than have something happen when your on the trail,just my opinion

there is a small oring on the bottom shaft where the plate is bolted to the tunnel for the drive shaft, check that out as well. #29 in the picture below.
