Is the chain case oil that arctic cat sells the same as 80W-90 gear lube that you can pick up at any autopart store? Since there is not a arctic cat dealer in my town, it would be alot easier if I could just run to the local autopart store. Thanks for the help

I just use straight transmission fluid in my 01 ZR 440. The guy who works on my sled has used it for years in all his machines (certified master cat tech) and has never had any problems with it nor have I so far. --Snotty 440

When I bought my ZR-800 the dealer told me that AW-32 hydraulic fluid works great. I have run this in this sled and never had a problem. My chain and sprockets still look new and no seal leaks. You can get a gallon of this for about the same price as a quart of synthetic chain case oil. The sled has 5000 miles on it now! I get it at my local auto parts store.
