Trails around Waterville/ Sangerfield/ Hamilton/ Sherrill are in need of snow as they are rough, frozen, and have about 4" of rideable to go on. We did get possibly 2 1/2" of powder snow last night but it didn't do much good. The lake effect we were suppossed to get didn't happen (weatherman wrong again :turd: ). According to CNY Snow Travelers web site, the main corridor between Solsville and Mable Hill Inn has gates closed (no snow & landowner issue)... Better off heading to the Hill, at least they have SOME snow. surrend -- Snotty 440

Rode around Oriskany Falls/Deansboro (77a) to Waterville last night. Very thin spots in the fields on top of the hills , valleys and woods are holding snow and are packed down but more snow is certainly needed. Thru the quarry (77a) to Oriskany Falls & over to Brothertown Rd. is signed very marginal, stop/stop ahead are there but missing 1 bridge + hazzards and many corners aren't marked either. After crossing Brothertown Rd. nothing is marked not even a stop/stop ahead sign @ the road! VERY POOR SIGNAGE on that end as well. That trail is in the process of being changed at Tehan's garage but still should have signs on it regardless. I don't belong to this local club that signs these trails anymore but did offer to help them out since it is within a mile of my home and was told "your help isn't needed or wanted , go sign with YOUR club" Enjoy your riding, be careful if on trails in this area!!
