A few pics from the show. We again thought Cat didn't put alot of energy in this show alot of models missing, They had trouble making that big room look like it was full. Not the greatest of pics but oh well...... :beer_cheers:

Mike, I was hoping to meet you and your son there. Met Scream (Jeff, a member here) and a few reputable AC dealers such as Brodner's, Cycle Enterprises, Norton's and Cook's. You should've seen Scream staring and drooling over the Green F6 Sno-Pro like a kid who wouldn't part ways. :D

Agreed with you on the size of the room and a very limited choice of sleds. Was hoping to see the Crossfire Nightfire, but only came to see the F1000 Nightfire with no engine in it. Wasn't too impressed with the outcome of the show itself. I dunno

Personally felt that I wasted my time/hype and spending $125 round trip on Gas, Dining and Thruway Tolls. bang your head

Sorry, we don't go. The casino is not "family friendly" and I'm not into taking the kids to the Turning Stone. Cat's marketing should realize these kids who love these sleds are their future. I know my father ran Cats in the 70's & 80's and now it is in my blood. Cat should take the event back to Syracuse. I remember the shows full of people/families = buyers. my2cents

Another thought; what is up with the No-Show in Old Forge/Snowfest? Cat is again loosing touch.

Thanks for the photos. HDFATTY

I did feel it was a waste of time but it's what guys do! (So wife says) If you got a long drive, pick up a book at local dealer. I was hoping to see a 1000 CFSP Nightfire too. bang your head

Thanks for the pictures mktgway,

Did you happen to notice any differance in the front stabilizer mount?

I have heard that it has been modified on the new 08's and I am curious just what they have changed.

My dealer has an awesome open house every year during the summer. Like 30% off all accessories bought on that day and he has alot of new sleds on display it's always a good time.

Give 'em a break. They are probably working with a very small budget for these shows nowdays.[/b]
I totaly agree with you on the budget being tight for these shows. But' if CAT wants to increase their sled sales there should be more money alloted to these shows so the CONSUMER can try them out.
Look at how skidoo and yammi have been for letting the consumer test ride their products. I know if I ever buy CAT again it will not be 1st year and I will test ride before putting down $10k or so of my hard earned money.
I learned the hard way this year as I was a test pilot for the new 800 xf. Got a bad one (flamethrower). Went to DOO camp as CAT was dragging feet for a fix.( 07xf 800 snopro for sale 875mi. $7500)
Anyhow CATS ride and handling are great and I truly believe CAT could bring a lot of people over from the other camps just by letting them ride one just to see how good they really are.

Reminds me of March 1992... Hype was running rampant
about the long anticipated birth of the THUNDERCAT "93"
Everyone knew it would be at least a "900" but alot of speculation
was it MIGHT be as big as 1000cc+. So we decided to drive from
CHICAGO to OCONOMOWOC, Wi (30mi west of milwaukee) for
the UNVEILING. I let one of my HARDCORE CAT riding buds drive
since he's a COP. 100 MPH+ all the way there and back. Was'nt
too thrilled with the GRAPHIX PKG but when they opened the hood
ALL the hardcore cat guys creamed their jeans.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WENT, what did you guys think of the Crossfire ??
As in worth buying one this year ?
Also think for everyone who bashed the f-series in 07 will have one hell of a pay back for 08.
If you go under hcs and f-series some guy asked his dealer about dry weight and he said it was 4XX lbs i cant remeber the last 2 numbers.. It was for a 2008 800.
All I have to say is pay back is a bitch !!!

Only 2 improvements that I can see out of the XF's was the newest Tunnel Design and Speedo. The rest looked the same. I wasn't too fond of the color and graphics. IMO, The '06 Sno-Pro's graphics was the best of all since Crossfire was created. I dunno
