I'm just under the minimum line on my brake fluid tub. What kind of brake fluid do I use. I can't download the Cat catalog grom their site because my computer is being stupid badcomputer . Does Cat make Brake fluid? Can I use car brake fluid? Any fast help will be very appriciated because I want to go riding without losing my breaks in the trail.

I sure hope your right. We just went to Mills Fleet Farm and bought Dot 3 hoping it was the right stuff. Is this correct anyone that knows for sure?

i use willwood (cat dealer). i think it's 4 but not really a big deal, 3 or 4 will work fine. clean fluid is more important anyways. I highly recommend you bleed the old junk out. keep bleeding until you get the fresh clear fluid coming out of the bleeder valve.

Whats the difference between 3 and 4? Is it thickness?

dot 4 i here is for the heat in racing.my sno pro says use dot 4 on the cover.

they say not to mix them DOT 3 or DOT 4, but I have with no problems.
