i installed boss noss system with efi controller that i bought off ebay today. when installing it with the injector harness oriented the way the install insructions say the sledd starts then dies after a few seconds. if i switch the injector plugs around, opposite of what they say to do it starts and the dobeck box powers up and blinks green on 1 and red on 8. the sled idles rough and check engine light blinks. please help. i need to know if the controller is malfunctioned so i can remedy the sale with the seller.

I made the mistake of buying the BOSS system to begin with. Had the same problem you are having because the directions are not right or you are installing it on a different year FI than what the instructions say but any way you look at it, when you hook it up and it runs, that's the way you want it. I personally was not impressed with the BOSS system. Easy to say, I know, but I've corrected my problem and now have a boondocker noss system on my sled.
