Hi, I have a 2020 Riot 8000 and am going to put a 2.5" track on it for Wyoming. Should I drop the skid frame to the lower mounting locations for more clearance? I called AC and they thought it wouldn't need a re gear but what do you guys think? Going from 1.6" to 2.5" and riding around 8000' I do have different clutch weight for elevation. Anything else I can do to better my set up?

Did you end up putting it in?? Looking to do the same or at least a 2.25 sks track

The Riot comes with the same gears as the RiotX. I would think clutch weights and that might be it.

I know the riot x has a drop down chain case so that's how they got the 2.6 under there. I'll have to look what the pitch is on that 2.6 track

Going to put it in on Saturday. I found a Peak 2.5" for about $800 hope it fits as they said it would! I'll put some pics up of what I run into..

I believe the gearing is different from the Riot to the Riot x in 2020 at least, but only by a few teeth. Not much change so I'm going to try out without gear swap first. Track pitch was 2.86

Schwing! 2.5" Peak fit! (Camso 9182m) was little tight on the cooling rails so I trimmed it a bit, maybe didn't need to but I'm not worried about it anymore. I'd say a 2.25" would be a perfect fit!
