Arctic cat has some steel plates that go on the inside of the tunnel...those are the ones I went with. got them just for some added security, although I haven't put them on yet. My deal said they've heard about the bent tunnels and see the pics, but they've never personally witnessed any bent.

I don't remember the cat part numbers but they were around $25 for the pair of them. Your dealer should know about them. My dealer in Waconia is the one who told me about them.
