I have a 2007 700 with 100kms on it, just finished snorkeling it, and I noticed a small puddle of oil under the bike. Turns out my right rear axle seal is leaking. I have never had to fix one of these seals before, does anyone have any advice on the best way to do it? Any info would be great! Thank you.

Agreed. There may be a bur or something on the axle or casing that is causing the leak, which will only perpetuate the leak until resolved. That said, it could very well just be a bad seal in which case it's gravy to fix.

Yeah I guess you guys are right......its just such a pain to take to the dealer.... I wanted to do it myself....but common sense should rule here.....TAKE IT TO THE DEALER!!!

They're probably gonna blame it on the 14" tires and rims I put on it too!!
