Are they white cups. If so you push the detent pins by pushing the axle in and pull the cup.

If not large channel locks and pry.

Push the axle towards the diff and then yank it back at you as hard as you can.

White cup axles didn't come into play until 2011, the 2010 MP had the same axles they used in the 2006 models.

You don't need a slide hammer. Just do as Rick said above. Push axle in and and yank it back. Should pop right out. I've never had a problem doing it that way.

Well, we got the Axles out. We ended up using an Air Hammer and chiseling the right front out. Once it came out we used a long punch to knock the other one out. Then the front gear box was taken out cleaned up new seals put in it all around and re-installed. Axle taken to Cv shop new boots put on lubed up and checked then re installed on bike. New bushings all around and new brake pads and front is done. Now for the back pinion seal hopefully rear chunk will be OK and then comes the new engine install and hopefully back to the mud. Looks like Friday night will be a beer and Pinion install party.
