I thoroughly agree with your assessment on idling engines. Five to ten minutes is plenty in cold temps and in warmer temps, as soon as the electric choke lets you put the machine in gear. Excessive idling is wasteful and not good for any engine.Some of you guys must think you have diesels. Idleing a gas engine for those extended periods of time is not good for them. If you read almost any owners manual car,truck or atv it usualy says not more than 10 min. Carbon builds quickly at low rpm's and oil preasure is not high and fluctuates at low rpms also. Maybe this is the reason so many of you guys are having motor problems[/b]
