Sorry for not being directly ATV related.
If you have are viewing a short video (Youtube or similar) How do you save it for future viewing?

I had a link saved but couldn't find it.

Basically what you used to be able to do was replace the www with kick in the domain name, but it doesn't seem to work anymore.

If you swapped www for kick, you automatically would be prompted to save it to your computer rather than only view on their web page / player console.

Maybe it will work for you... Maybe this computer has a browser issue, I don't know yet.

Example:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMKmQmkJ9gg

KICK.youtube.com/watch?v=WMKmQmkJ9gg

While looking for the link, I found this YouTube video... Save it if you can. It sounds awesome on a good stereo. Dial it up if you have one. IMO better than the original.

Electronic violins... You can electronically manipulate the electric signals of the vibrating strings, to sound like anything but strings. Just like guitars.

Those girls are great!

Well, I got the add on and downloaded a video, but now I can't find it bang your head I've gone through all my videos and documents, and searched for files by that name. Any clues where it might have gone? Usually when you download something there is a prompt asking where you want to save it, but I didn't see anything like that I dunno

Cool.....Glad you found it. Also....All you have to do is click on Tools, Add On's then go to the easy youtube downloader and click on Options.....Then you can tell it where to save the file.......if you want to save somewhere different

Firefox's add-on called "downloadhelper" also does the same thing and you can specify where to save it and to convert it to a different format if you don't want it in ".flv" format. (shockwave flash)
