hey guys, i was recently given a 2004 arctic cat 90cc atv for my daughter. i know nothing about this machine. from what i have read some are 2 stroke and others are 4. i assume this is a dvx however it isnt labelled. can anyone give me a rundown on this machine? oil injection? premix? base oil? anything else useful. thanks in advance!

this is the vin, ill get some better engine pictures this morning, thanks! View attachment 367750 View attachment 367751
Looks to be a 4 stroke, but I would definitely write down the vin numbers and call a Arctic Cat dealership and confirm. The manuals that doorfx provided are great, but most of the info is about maintenance and safety, no valid pictures to confirm which ATV you have. Sorry for the delay in my response, starting a new career; lots of reading is required to be prepared for the interview.

Definitely a 4 stroke. Spark plug is on the side of a 4 stroke and in the middle of cylinder head on a 2 stroke.
