i am thinking of painting mine and wanted to see some first[/b]
If you just want to change color your better off getting a set of green or what ever color pans and swaping them. The reason being that its alot of work to get the mold release off and to get paint to stick, and it may be hard to get a exact match to the AC green on your sled. Im sure it would have to be a custome mix. And its gonna show the base color when you get a scratch!!. JM2CENTS :beer_cheers:

i own a body shop so im not to worried about color matching plus you cant mismatch black, and the belly pans are black, sikins has a plastic primer that will hold up ive painted textured chevy truck moldings not even a chip in those i just wanted to see a firecat with shiny belly pans to see if i liked them like on the mach z

I painted a belly pan on a 2001 snopro once. I had it media blasted first and that made the surface smooth, yet porus enough to take paint with-out it flaking or cracking. The only flaw it had was when the pan got gouged, and that was expected.
