When I ride in 2-Up mode I have the wrap-around rear bag #1436-262 :

I find it works really good for hauling riding accessories, but it's NOT watterproof. It's "resistant" but things can get damp if the machine gets soaked.
I carry most things in zip-loc bags anyways so it doesn't bother me.

First off, nice trv :D the painted wheels really set it off Rockerdude
Ive looked at that rear bag as well. My 07 trv I almost got it... the 13 that is being built is a 1000 LE so it comes with the rear box. I want to be able to remove the box and just go with the standard trv set up on local rides and short rides. Thats why I was thinking of just the small bag. Ill have a front rack bag, just really looking for something for the wife to put a few things in ect if needed.
the wraparound bag would probably be overkill for what I need.
but I find that smaller bad at $80 to be a bit excessive in price lol.
meh.. Maybe I can find a cheap on on ebay

Thanks to you both for the opinions. much appreciated
