another quick oil pump question

After reading up on all these posts about oil pump adjustments it seems to most that when the marks are lined up from the factory thats in the range of 35:1ish. Is it safe to say thats the ratio when your marks are lined up?? I know my F6 was 35:1 and I turned the rod 2 turns out and came up with 53:1 but I never checked if any marks were lined up before I started the project. I know they wont line up when adjusted properly.
