i have a 06 x-fire and the belt is riding pretty much flush with the top of the secondary, how does a person adjust the secondary so that the belt rides above the seconday and how much above the secondary is the correct amount

in your manual it will show how to do it...

basically....

take the white plastic adjuster out,
take the rubber washer off,
add a small shim (get them from dealer, cheap)
put rubber washer back on
screw in adjuster until snug,
lift up rear of sled and run the throttle enough to engage...it will ride up so the cogs are slightly above the rim.

done.

Note: becareful the first time you do it, the sled might creep a bit, take for a ride, and see if it still creaps after a mile or two. It will likey be perfect then.
