Hello,

I am new here.
I own a 2013 trv 500. I have actuator issues for a while, it keeps switching between 2 and 4 wheel drives randomly. I thought it was an actuator problem and just installed a costly brand new one. The friggin' problem is still there… It keeps switching randomly between 2 and 4 wheel drive…

Where should i look at next ?

Thanks

Next, I would look at the 2-4-4 lock manual switch on the right handle bar. Perhaps it has some moisture or wet mud inside the switch - that keeps shorting out its contacts? Time to tear it apart and clean its internals.

Years ago, one of my snowmobiles sometimes would or wouldn't start. To make a long story short, its one kill switch was shorting out - the caused weird behavior. Rare but sometimes happens.

Hope this helps.

I would also follow the wire harness all the way up as well. Especially around the neck area it could have rubbed through causing the wires to randomly short with the movement of steering
