I had a stud rip out and punture the front heat exchanger. Two pinholes along the groove in the fins. Could I have this aluminum welded? As it looks intensive to replace it being part of the chassis. My son suggested jb weld? What do you suggest.

JB Weld is amazing stuff, it's holding the driven clutch together on my in-laws John Deere. You'll have to drain the cooling system either way. First choice would be to replace it, second would be to weld it, third would be to silver solder it, and last would be the JB Weld.

I jb welded what looked like a hatchet wound on my old 96. As long as it's CLEAN it will work great and you should be able to fix it without removing it.

One night fix and I was back in business.
