Hey guys, just enjoying the beautiful days here, decided to tinker with my sled i bought back in july, only to find the magnetic switches missing, just curious, saw these on my friends sled when i was doing carb work on his. There is a plug in for them, just also wondering what do these switches do? The guy i bought it from said he had it at his local dealer to get the carbs replaced, just not sure if they were removed for a reason or what? I dunno These switches are inexpensive so, if i need them, no problem, just want this thing to run to its full potential when snow comes around.

Just Remembering

There are little magnets in that follow the needle in the carb. I also found it seems to be wired to the ignition module, leaving me to believe they sense the throttle position, but for what, is it a timing or fuel control thing goin on? I dunno
