OK heres my problem i bought a after market stator at a sled yard ohmed out good went to put it in and had problems (wiring had to be bent to get it to fit) got it in and went to put the flywheel on, now when i turn the motor it has a slight catch. Do i need the flywheel that went with this stator or is it the wrong one, Do i need to shave mine? The stator was marked 99 Zl 600 efi all the plugs did match but wiring color was solid not 2 colors one wire like oem. Thanks for any help

Pull the stator back out and look for high spots in the coating and look at your flywheel and make sure a magnet is not coming loose. It may be a bobbin is loose or is in wrong also.

When i did turn it over and bound up i pulled the flywheel off and noticed a paint chip from the stator on there ill pull it out or get a dial cailper in there tonight
