i've got a 1997 ext 600 triple w/ the zrt motor, and having problems with it cutting out up until this year the problem only seemed to happen when the weather dropped below zero. throttle response seems to be delayed and it still has been cutting out if i feather the throttle a little bit it semms to smooth out and only seems to happen up to 1/4 throttle maybe evn sometimes at half throttle. while i was just outside going through carbs i noticed a crack on the rubber boot for the reed housing on the left side could this be the problem for the moter wanting to cut out or does this sound like an electrical problem to anyone? bang your head bang your head

Check to see if the magnets are broke loose in the carbs. Pull all the eletricle connections ans clean them good.

The crack in the rubber boot could soon be serious problem though. If motor sucks air through that crack it will run lean on that cylinder and blow a piston.
